Winton Club Author Night at Book Ends in Winchester

The Winton Club of Winchester invites you to come to Book Ends, 559 Main St., Winchester, for a special author meeting and book signing event on Thursday, October 12 @ 7PM.
Come by and meet Sandra A. Miller, author of “Wednesdays at One” and Megan Tady, author of “Super Bloom” and enjoy a fun night out in Winchester Center.
This is a unique opportunity for a women-owned publishing company with women-only authors and a local bookstore owned by women and the Winton Club – a women's non-profit organization, to all work together to help each other in our respective missions/goals.

Introduction Sandra Miller
Sandra Miller is the author of the award-winning memoir Trove: A Woman's Search for Truth and Buried Treasure. She has written about relationships and self-discovery for The Boston Globe, The Christian Science Monitor, and many other publications. Her essay about her unconventional love story with her husband was made into the short film, "Wait," directed by Trudie Styler and starring Kerry Washington. She teaches writing at UMass Lowell, and lives in Arlington with her husband, with whom she has two grown children.

Introduction to Megan Tady
Megan Tady is a writer and editor who runs the company Word-Lift. When she's not scrutinizing copy, she can be found stocking her free neighborhood library, challenging anyone to a dance-off, or stewing over how Portlandia stole all of her jokes. Megan is hard at work on her next novel, Champions for Breakfast, which will also be published by Zibby Books in 2024. She is a corn-fed Nebraska gal who now lives in a quaint New England town with her husband and two kids.
Introduction to Zibby Books
Zibby Books is a newly launched publishing company founded by Zibby Owens, who began her career in publishing with her award-winning podcast, Moms Don’t Have Time to Read Books. Since she launched the podcast over 5 years ago, she has interviewed over 1400 authors and has become an industry recognized book influencer and advocate for writers. The company has grown to include retreats, writing classes, a digital magazine, and a publishing company that publishes 12 books a year in the categories of Fiction and Memoir. The company is based in New York, but Zibby also owns an independent bookstore in Santa Monica, California.
