While some temporary lane closures and utility work will continue near 316 New Boston St., access to homes and businesses will be maintained, with police details and signage guiding motorists until a formal dedication later this fall.
2. Eversource to hold 'office hours' regarding Burlington to Woburn supply initiative (homenewshere.com) — Eversource is planning a major Burlington-to-Woburn electric supply upgrade that includes more than 10 miles of underground work through Woburn streets and a new substation in Burlington. Residents and businesses can ask questions and share concerns at informal office hours on September 10 at Burlington Public Library or by contacting the project engagement lead directly.
3. Woburn opens brand new skateboard park by Shamrock School (homenewshere.com) — Woburn has opened its first-ever skateboard park beside Shamrock Elementary School on the former Green Street pool site, giving local skaters and BMX riders a dedicated space. After years of planning, neighborhood debate, and a $233,000 city investment, the park is now drawing all ages while councilors plan a six‑month check‑in to address any lingering concerns.
