Obituary: James M. Griffin

Mr. Griffin was the husband of the late Florence M. (Hedges) Griffin and the son of the late John and the late Margaret (O'Connor) Griffin. He is survived by two sons, James Griffin and his wife Karen of Londonderry, New Hampshire and Lawrence "Lon" Griffin and his wife Marianne of Natick; one daughter, Nancy Sperlinga and her husband John of Wilmington. He is also survived by four grandchildren; Jessica Griffin, Autumn Joy Griffin, Sara Pourghasemi and Evan James Sperlinga. He was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters; the late Katherine Smith, the late Joseph Griffin, the late Margaret Griffin and the late Eleanor Griffin.

He was an United States Navy Veteran of World War II.

A funeral service will be held at the Graham Funeral Home, 3 Arlington Rd. in Woburn on Thursday, Dec. 30 at 11:00 am.

Visiting hours will be prior to the service on Thursday from 9 to 11 a.m. 

Burial with Military Honors will be at the Woodbrook Cemetery in Woburn.
