POLICE LOG: Teen Told to Obey Mom's Rules

The following is an excerpt from the  log. Please note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests included in the daily police log.

Feb. 22 – At 10:20 p.m., officers responded to a report of an out-of-control teenager. According to police, the teen returned home 30 minutes after his curfew and argued with his mother. Police advised the teen to “obey his mother’s rules while living in her household.”

At 2:13 p.m., a Woburn man reported alleged fraudulent activity on a credit card opened without his permission.

At 4:29 p.m., Scott D. Cooper, 39, of 1 Kilby St. Apt. #44, was arrested and charged with resisting arrest, assault and battery on a police officer, assault and battery on a public employee (firefighter), disorderly conduct and two outstanding warrants.

At 8:29 p.m., police responded to Kimball Court for a report of a domestic incident. According to police, a witness reported a man and woman argued and there was physical contact. The woman told police she did not wish to pursue the matter.

Feb. 23 –

At 12:34 a.m., police were dispatched to Sylvanus Wood Drive for a report of an argument. According to police, two tenants argued over personal property. Police asked the two to cease for the night and work out the problem in the morning.

At 4:06 a.m., police responded to a report of a possible break-in on Creston Avenue. According to police, a resident said he was downstairs in his apartment when he heard movement and activity on the second floor. The resident told police he saw a man in black clothing flee out a window and run toward Alpena Avenue. Nothing was taken, reported police.
