A Grant From Lowes' That Could Benefit Your School

Twice a year Lowes' - a home-improvement super store - accepts applications for their Toolbox for Education grant program.

The Fall 2012 cycle is now open.  School grant applications are due in by October 12, 2012 5pm EST.  However, if 1500 applications are received before the application deadline, then the application process will close.

So dream about creating that school garden where your students can learn to grow their own vegetables and flowers.  Or, maybe you have an art exhibit or a computer lab in mind.  

Lowes will donate $5 million to public schools and public school parent teacher groups - at more than 1,000 different public schools per year.
