Are You Ready for the Tuesday TweetupWob? We Are!

Woburn's first Tweetup is coming up Tuesday, Aug. 2, 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Beacon Grille. The event will provide a chance for social media mavens and newcomers alike to meet in person to network, exchange social media tips and resources, and enjoy some good food and beverage (complimentary light appetizers will be provided plus a cash bar). There is still time to sign-up on the event page! 

The evening will be loosely structured to allow plenty of time for chatting. Be sure to bring a device for Tweeting (or Facebooking, Google+ing, etc.).  There will be several activities and questions to prompt discussing in the room and with anyone following the event virtually.  Prizes for these activities have been donated by Thoughtful Eating - A Food Blog and Woburn Public Library. There will also be a resource table on which you can leave a business card or brochure.

We will also have an informal panel discussion on how social media is used in different lines of work. This will feature Danielle Masterson of Woburn Patch, Pastor Keith Anderson of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer and Joyce Vyriotes of Cummings Properties and Beacon Grille.
