Have Dinner / Help Cure Cancer - Woburn Companies You Can Help Too!

I'm writing a quick blog post to see if I can get some more interest in a fundraiser next Thursday at The Tanner Tavern.  September 13th from Noon until 11pm bring in the attached flyer (or email me to send it to you) and The Tavern will donate 25% of your bill toward St. Baldrick's Foundation - Shave for the Brave.  

On Sunday September 16th I'll be shaving my head to support all the kids who have to go through such harsh treatments - some which result in baldness.  September is Children's Cancer Awareness Month and the lack of funding for childhood cancer needs to be brought to light.  I'm hoping this will help.  

My friends and family have been awesome about donating.  To date I've raised $1,888 toward my goal of $5,000.  I'm looking for some extra support at The Tavern (plus their food is awesome) and I'm looking for some corporate support.

If your company or a company you know of might be interested in helping me reach my $5,000 goal by September 16th, please have them contact me. I'm on Facebook, Twitter, here on the Patch, etc. I would truly appreciate some help in spreading the word.

Please help us in this desperate fight against this disease.  I will leave you with one scary statistic - each month over $1,000 children are diagnosed with cancer and every 6 days 42 children die from cancer.
