(Stair) Rising to the Challenge...

...and what a challenge it was!

I fell in love with stenciled stair risers when I came across them on Pinterest. I knew I had to recreate it in my home.

I made that sound so simple. 

It wasn't.

Now I know why I have never been in a home with this particular design feature.

But I did do it (with lots of trial and error) and I love the results even more in person.
