Woburn Letter Carriers Food Drive This Sturday, Oct. 29

The Woburn Letter Carriers together with the Woburn Council of Social Concern is holding their annual food drive this Saturday October 29. If you are a Woburn Resident and would like to participate please put your food donations in a bag or box out by your mailbox by 9 a.m. Saturday morning. Your letter carrier will pickup your donations.

This food drive will help more than 300 families receive food they couldn’t otherwise get. The proceeds will allow the Council to do things like make baskets for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. If you are a Woburn resident and would like to help local families have a happy holiday season then please participate. Now more than ever, with our country facing record unemployment numbers, it is important for us all to pull together as a community and help thy neighbor whenever possible. Mother Teresa said it best, “If you can't feed a hundred people, then feed just one.”
