Wyman Students Raise Money While Learning Math
Wyman School planned a fundraiser that asks for small donations while teaching children math.
Submitted by Nicole Strout, Wyman PTO V.P.
On Monday, Oct. 17, the Wyman Elementary School began a 10-day educational fundraiser.
This year, the school's Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) chose a $5ForKids Campaign as it's major fall fundraiser. The $5ForKids is a donation card fundraiser with an educational twist. Students will collect $5 donations from family and friends in the hopes of collecting $50 each. Throughout this event, PTO volunteers will work with the students to reinforce math facts by playing games and hosting creative contests.
An estimated 98 percent of the money raised will go directly toward programs, supplies, and educational field trips that will directly benefit the Wyman students.
If you'd like to support the Wyman students with a donation, please mail to Wyman School PTO, c/o $5ForKids Campaign Fundraiser, 679 Main Street, Woburn, MA 01801.
The $5ForKids Campaign fundraiser is a product of PTO Ideas, a web-based Massachusetts company dedicated to helping schools build better parent-teacher organizations.
