Burglary Suspect Flees Scene After Breaking Store's Door With a Large Rock

A burglary suspect threw a large rock through a Main Street store’s door early Friday morning.

At 1:06 a.m., police responded to Jack’s Variety on Main Street about a burglar alarm. Police found that someone threw a large rock through a glass door in an attempt to break into the business.

Police watched surveillance video, which showed a person in a dark hooded sweatshirt throw the rock through the door. The suspect ran across Main Street and down Wyman Street.

Police are investigating.
