Deadline to Register for State Primary Election is Wednesday
Voters can check their registration status by using the look-up tool now available on the city's website.

From the City Clerk’s office:
City Clerk William Campbell reminds voters that the deadline to register to vote in the State Primary Election is Wednesday, Aug. 20 at 8 p.m. If you moved, changed your name, or your local census form was not received at city hall, you may encounter an issue at the polls. In some cases, you will have to sign an affidavit and show identification at the polls. In other cases, you may not be able to vote.
Voters can check their registration status by using the look-up tool now available on the city’s website. The tool tells the voter their voting status, party enrollment, whether an ID is required at the polls, voting location, current State and Federal election officials, and contact information to the city clerk’s office. The page will tell the voter when the information was last updated, which is usually sometime during the past night.
