Farino Photo Show: A Community Conversation

Sunday, November 9, 2014 2pm Woburn Public Library

On Sunday, November 9th, at 2 pm, Woburn Public Library volunteer Linda Olsson will present the next Community Conversation featuring photographs from the Patrick Farino Collection at Woburn Public Library.

Featured in this show will be H.E.Wright. There are a number of photographs in the collection but no information about this company and I hope that someone that remembers it will come and fill us in a bit. Also featured will be the 1952 to 1955 Japanese Sister City program with Uenohara, Japan; the Kiwanis, Woburn Times News Delivery Boys and Girls, Woburn High School students and teachers, the swearing in of 1954 City Officials, and bowling and basketball, all from the 1950’s. Over 100 photos will be shown in hopes that the audience will be able to identify as many as possible.

We will also explore all answers received from the public for the photographs published in the Woburn Daily Times Chronicle since the last program in July.
