Folk Irish Band at Horn Pond on Friday
This concert will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Ice House Park section of Horn Pond.

The McTeggart’s are scheduled to play this Friday, Aug. 1 at Horn Pond. This concert will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Ice House Park section of Horn Pond, near the intersection of Beacon St. and Sturgis St. In the event of inclement weather, the rain date for this concert will be Thursday, Aug. 7. The McTeggart’s concert is being sponsored by McCue Garden Center. McCue’s will again be generously providing free steamed corn on the cob for all concert attendees.
The McTeggart’s are Jimmy Byrne and Mike O’Brien. Jimmy hails from Cork and Mike hails from Dublin. Together, their dulcet tones and superb musicianship make for one of the most sought after folk Irish bands in America and abroad.

Jimmy and Mike are one of the most traveled duos on the Irish American music scene. They have been together for over 30 years and played venues throughout Canada and the U.S., Vancouver, Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto and New Brunswick, Colorado, Illinois, Michigan, Massachusetts, New York, Florida, Virginia and Washington, D.C., and Seoul, Korea.
This is the twelfth year that the Horn Pond Summer Concert Series will entertain Woburn residents. The concerts are a perfect way to spend summer nights with your fellow community members and enjoy the beautiful Horn Pond area.
