Haunted Halloween Happening

Each year the Woburn Public Library turns itself over to a ghoulish group of ghosts and goblins who transform the building into a spook-tacular venue for a Haunted Halloween Happening. This year, the event will take place on Saturday, October 19, from 7 to 11 pm. Adults over 21 are invited to join us as we enjoy food, music, and fun.

Come in costume or come as you are. This is an event for your enjoyment of Halloween. There will be a prize for Best Costume, but no penalty if you don’t dress up. Perhaps you would prefer to participate in the Mummy Wrap? You might find yourself in costume after all!

For the risk-takers among us, there will be drawings at all levels including a 50/50 for $5.00, a Halloween themed basket or a canvas photo of the Library in winter at the $10.00 level, and a $500 Best Buy gift card for $25.00 per chance. Perhaps you prefer something a bit more hands on? Take a chance with our Balloon Pop. Each balloon you pop will represent a prize with a minimum value of $25.00, so everyone who participates is a winner!

Our wonderful Emcee, James Major, will keep the evening moving. Popular DJ, Lorraine, joins us for the third year in a row. We have invited Fortune Teller Kate Genovese to predict your future. Chef Michael is preparing a delectable feast. We plan a cash bar with beer, wine, and soft drinks. Desserts will come from Roma’s Bakery.
