The Horn Pond Summer Concert Series kicks off on Friday, July 11 with The Brian Maes Band with MaryBeth Linehan Maes, a band with local ties to Woburn.
The concert is from 6 to 8 pm. at Horn Pond, along the flat grassy area of Sturgis Street, otherwise known as Ice House Park. This concert is sponsored by Jump On In of Woburn.
In addition to their own material, the Brian Maes Band throw in some well-known classic rock covers that they have some connection to. Maes toured with Peter Wolf, John Cafferty and The Beaver Brown Band, and RTZ. Brian’s wife, MaryBeth Maes, formerly MaryBeth Linehan of Woburn, will also be singing with the band.
This is the 125h year that the Horn Pond Summer Concert Series will entertain Woburn residents. The concerts are a perfect way to spend summer nights with your fellow community members and enjoy the beautiful Horn Pond area.
Bring your family, friends, and lawn chairs to Ice House Park to enjoy free concerts on select Fridays throughout the summer. With generous support from local businesses, the Concert Series is free to the public.
