Massachusetts Sees Lowest Gas Prices of 2015

Regular gas is retailing at prices nearly 21 percent lower per gallon than it did at this time in 2014.

Massachusetts residents are paying less at the pumps this week than they have the entire year and significantly less than they payed in 2014.

As of Dec. 21, regular gasoline is retailing at $2.05 per gallon in Massachusetts, which is the lowest average price of 2015 according to Gasbuddy. Average prices have also decreased by more than 54 cents or 20.8 percent from last year’s Dec. 21 mark of $2.59 per gallon.

Residents are also seeing a per-gallon price that is six cents lower than last month and two cents lower than last week.
