Obituary - Margaret A. Nicosia

Margaret A. (DiMambro) Nicosia, age 94, passed away peacefully in her beloved Winchester on February 11, 2026. She was born and raised in Winchester, and it was here that she built a life filled with love and cherished memories.

Margaret was the devoted wife of the late Americo Nicosia. and the dear mother to Joseph M. Nicosia and his life partner Laura Dooley. The daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Arciero) DiMambro, Margaret was also the cherished sister to Ruth DiMambro and Mary Muise, both of Winchester.

As a devoted wife and mother, the most important thing in life was her family. She enjoyed cooking and preparing delicious meals for her family and her home was always warm and welcoming. Her presence in the lives she touched will be sorely missed, and her spirit will remain a guiding light for her family and friends.

A Visitation will be held at Costello Funeral Home, 177 Washington Street, Winchester, on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at 10:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, 155 Washington St., Winchester, MA 01890 at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Winchester.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Margaret's memory may be made to St. Mary's Church at the address listed above.
