Police Log: Money and Credit Card Reportedly Taken from Apartment

Monday, Oct. 6

At 6:28 p.m., police responded to a call about a two-car accident on Washington Street. Both vehicles had moderate damage. There were no injuries.

At 11:35 a.m., police responded to Cambridge Road after a resident said $400 in cash and a credit card were stolen from an apartment over the past month. She said four separate times $100 was missing from her wallet. Her credit card was also taken and used for multiple purchases totaling $170. She said two other people were in the apartment over the past month.

At 5:55 p.m., police responded to Russell Street about someone cutting down trees and leaving limbs and branches in a neighbor’s yard. Police spoke to both property owners and a person from the company that cut down the trees. The residents agreed to make arrangements to have the limbs and branches removed.

At 6:54 p.m., police received a report about a two-car accident at Main and Clinton streets. A driver said the other driver rear-ended her. She said the man yelled at her. The woman drove her car to the police station with the other driver following behind her. The other driver told police that the woman backed into his bumper. He said he beeped and yelled at the other driver, but she drove away so he followed her to the station.
