Police Log: $2,000 Worth of Scratch Tickets Stolen

Excerpts from the Woburn Police Department log.

Friday, Oct. 10

At 9:56 p.m., a Main Street resident reported that someone threw an ice scraper through a window. It was part of an ongoing dispute. The resident knows the suspect’s first name. Once police get the woman’s full name, they plan to charge her with malicious destruction of property less than $250.

At 4:08 a.m., police placed an intoxicated 20-year-old Woburn man into protective custody after a report of a person trying to break into a residence on Wood Street. Police found the man was intoxicated and thought he was going to a house party at the residence.

At 11:20 a.m., police responded to Mountain Street about a dog fight. A woman said her dog bit antoher dog. She tried to break up the fight, but she was dragged on the pavement; a man broke up the fight. She said her dog is usually friendly. The other dog was taken to Mass Veterinary Referral Hospital.

At 2:51 p.m., police received a call from DB Mart after $2,000 worth of Billion Dollar Bonanza scratch tickets were stolen. They were stolen sometime between Sept. 1 and Oct. 12.

At 6:15 p.m., police placed an intoxicated 57-year-old Gray, ME, woman into protective custody after a report of a woman screaming and throwing her cell phone on the ground in the Waxy O’Conner’s parking lot.

Monday, Oct. 13

At 8:21 a.m., police arrested Sean C. Breland, 19, 7 Tremont St., Woburn, and charged him on an arrest warrant.
