Police Log: Break-in on Maple Street Reported

Friday, Sept. 12

At 10:22 a.m., police responded to Maple Street about a burglary. The resident said someone entered a basement by cutting a screen. A TV was taken from the basement.

At 1:41 p.m., a Court Street resident reported that a package containing a Ninja Blender was taken from outside her residence. She said she never received the item, but UPS said the package was delivered.

Saturday, Sept. 13

At 4:01 p.m., police arrested James Richard Gately, 39, 116 Main St., Woburn, and charged him on a warrant for assault and battery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Police made the arrest after a disturbance call on Main Street.
