Police Log: Expensive Watch Reportedly Taken From Rink

Excerpts from the Woburn Police Department log.

Saturday, Nov. 15

At 10:04 p.m., police arrested Kenneth McPherson, 38, 27 Calthea St., Stoneham, and charged him with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, a red light violation and a warrant. Police made the arrest after an officer reportedly saw a driver go through a red light on Main Street.

At 9:29 a.m., a Lexington man reported a lost or stolen Tag Hauer watch valued at between $2,000 and $3,000 from the O’Brien Ice Rink. The watch was reportedly taken while the man played a pickup hockey game.

At 10:36 a.m., a Kilby Street resident called police after someone slashed a car’s tires. The vandal also etched “Drive Safe” on the car’s hood.

At 2:18 p.m., police received a call about three stolen bicycles from a Green Street residence.

At 3:31 p.m., an Everett Street resident reported that three kids knocked on his door and ran. Fifteen minutes later, he noticed one of the kids bent over in his driveway near a vehicle. The man went outside and saw that a tire had been slashed.
