Police Log: Pennsylvania Man Charged With Drug Trafficking

Tuesday, July 29

At 12:30 p.m., police arrested Charles Joseph Milonopoulos, 21, 1 Johnson St., Woburn, and charged him with receiving stolen property more than $250. An officer saw a man carrying a box on Main Street. The officer spoke to a nearby UPS driver, who confirmed that a package was stolen from his truck. Officers found Milonopoulos on Manns Court. He denied stealing the package, which contained 20 black metal squares. Police reportedly found a cardboard box in the woods between Manns Court and Center Street and made the arrest.

At 12:49 p.m., police arrested Xavier Rivera Colon, 26, 2139 Joshua Road, Bensalem, PA, and charged him with possessing a Class B drug with the intent to distribute, a drug violation near a school/park, trafficking in heroin/morphine/opium and possessing a Class B drug to distribute. Woburn Police and the Southern Middlesex Regional Drug Task Force have been investigating drug sales in Woburn. As part of the investigation, police pulled over Colon’s vehicle. Police reportedly recovered about 22 grams of heroin, seven cocaine packages and six crack cocaine packages from the trunk of Colon’s car.

At 7:28 p.m., police arrested Frank G. Cavarretta, 55, 4 Bryant St., Woburn, and charged him with receiving stolen property more than $250. Police received a report of expensive rims and tires stolen from a Lexus in Winchester. Video surveillance showed two men steal the rims and tires. Police ran the plate in the vehicle they were in, which matched a vehicle owned by a Bryant Street resident. Officers went to Bryant Street and reportedly saw Cavaretta removing the stolen rims from a shed and put it in his vehicle. Police followed in pursuit of Cavarretta, pulled him over and arrested him.
