Police Log: Rock Thrown Through Car Window

At 4:16 p.m., a Woburn resident reported fraud. He said he started working for a company called Mystery Shoppers. He found the job on the Internet. The job description included purchasing merchandise at specific shops and writing reviews. He was also supposed to purchase four $500 pre-paid gift cards. The man said he spent $2000 on gift cards and the company sent him checks, but they were fake.

Thursday, Oct. 9

At 7:03 p.m., police responded to the Ninety-Nine Restaurant on Cambridge Road after someone broke a car window with a rock. There wasn’t anything taken.
