At 3:19 p.m., a Davis Road resident reported possible fraud. A man agreed to prune the woman’s trees, remove brush and debris and clean gutters for $2,200. The man, who claimed to be working for a man the woman knew, cashed the check, but didn’t perform the work.
At 3:38 p.m., an A&T Store employee called after two men stole items from the store. The employee gave police surveillance footage that showed two men put multiple items in their jackets, including headphones and five sportsbands. The items are valued at nearly $700. The suspects were in their late 30s or early 40. Police are investigating.
At 3:58 p.m., police responded to a two-car accident on Gill Street. A driver reportedly rear-ended a six-wheel water tank truck that was stopped. The driver said she didn’t know the truck was stopped and was unable to stop her car in time. There were no injuries, but the car was towed.

Saturday, June 7
At 4:21 p.m., police arrested Jenni Constance Powers, 32, 36 Cleveland St., Revere, and charged her with shoplifting. A Kohl’s employee reported two female shoplifters left the store with merchandise. The employee told police that Powers’ accomplice handed Powers the jewelry and Powers left the store with it. The jewelry is valued at $340. An employee confronted the women in the parking lot. The suspects were leaving the parking lot when an officer pulled in front of her and told the driver to turn off the vehicle. Police allowed the accomplice to leave and placed Powers under arrest.
