Police Log: Slick Roads Lead to Series of Accidents

Excerpts from the Woburn Police Department log.

Wednesday, Oct. 22

At 7:25 a.m., police responded to a three-car accident at Montvale Avenue and Everett Street. One driver was unable to stop on the wet pavement and struck the car in front of him, which then struck another car. There were no reported injuries.

At 7:54 a.m., police responded to a car accident at Locust and Willow streets. One driver struck another car from behind. There were no reported injuries.

At 8:44 a.m., police responded to Winn and Pleasant streets after a bicyclist collided with a car’s right front tire. There were no reported injuries.

At 10:13 a.m., police responded to a two-car accident at Main and Fowle streets. One driver acknowledged that he went through a red light. There were no reported injuries.

At 11:11 a.m., police responded to a two-car accident on Montvale Avenue. There were no reported injuries.

Thursday, Oct. 23

At 6:38 a.m., police responded to Commerce Way and Atlantic Avenue after a motor vehicle accident. One driver complained of neck pain, but said he would go to the emergency room if the pain continued.
