Police Log: Wiring Stolen From Construction Site

Wednesday, Aug. 13

At 10:22 a.m., police repsonded to Stoneham Street after a tractor trailer pulled down wires and a utility pole. Utitlity wires to a house and a meter box were also damaged. The driver reportedly left the area and told police he didn’t know he took down wires. He thought the truck was just caught on a branch. Police notified NStar.

At 11:04 a.m., police responded to a Main Street construction site after someone stole two 200-foot wiring and a wire rack. The items are valued at $800.

At 11:58 a.m., a Woburn resident reported receiving threats from multiple accounts on Twitter, crank phone calls and emails forwarded from adult websites that includes profiles with her husband’s photo. She and her husband don’t know who was doing the harassing and who created the adult website accounts. Police took a report.

Thursday, Aug. 14

At 11:05 a.m., police responded to a car accident at West Cummings Park and Washington Street. Two people were taken to the hosptial with leg pain. One driver was cited with failing to yield.
