Police Nab Alleged Heroin, Cocaine Dealer
A Woburn man was also charged with drug possession.

Woburn Police arrested an alleged drug dealer and a buyer, and confiscated cocaine and heroin on Middlesex Canal Park Road on Tuesday night.
Police arrested Wadinson M. Mata-Mercado, 29, 41 Berkeley St., Apt. 32, Lawrence, and charged him with distributing a Class A drug, trafficking in heroin/morphine/opium, two counts of possessing a Class B drug with the intent to distribute, conspiracy to violate drug law and a drug violation near a school/park and David D. Stellberger, 27, 31 South Bedford St., Woburn, and charged him with possessing a Class A drug and conspiracy to violate drug law.
Woburn Police and the Southern Middlesex Regional Drug Task Force were investigating drug sales in Woburn and made a ācontrolled purchaseā of drugs earlier in October.

On Tuesday, members of the Woburn Police Department Drug Unit allegedly saw Stellberger enter a car on Rainin Road. Police followed the vehicle to Middlesex Canal Park Road.
Police believed that an illegal narcotics transaction was occurring and approached the vehicle. They arrested the two men and officers recovered 30 cut and tied corners of heroin (about 29 grams), four cut and tied corners of heroin (about 4 grams), six cut and tied corners of cocaine (about 5 grams) and five cut and tied corners of crack cocaine (about 2 grams). They also confiscated $1,421 and the vehicle, a 2008 Toyota Highlander.
