Presti Murder Given Prime Time Coverage
The murder of Joanne and Alyssa Presti will be featured on Investigation Discovery.

Now, the Investigation Discovery prime time program Nightmare Next Door will feature the heinous double-murder and subsequent investigation by Woburn Police. The show will premiere this Sunday, March 11 at 9 p.m.

Jordyn Linsk, a publicist for the cable network, said Nightmare Next Door focuses on "mysterious murders from behind white picket fences." The shows generally focus on crimes committed by the "evil that can lurk in the heart and soul of a tight-knit community," added Linsk.
Joanne and Alyssa Presti were found dead in their home after family had not heard from either of them for several days. investigated the crime, which included interviewing suspects who had relationships with the Presti family.

"But it is not until a mysterious photograph is found in the Presti home that a killer is exposed," said Linsk.
The show will feature interviews with Annette Presti, Joanne’s mother and Alyssa's grandmother; Kelley Lorick, a friend of Alyssa’s; Eddie App, a neighbor of the Presti family; Woburn Police Det. Mike Pandolph, WPD Lt. John O'Neil, and Massachusetts State Police Trooper Gina Joyce.
In April of 2010, six years after the murder, the state Supreme Court keeping Michael Bizanowicz in prison.
