In a press release Monday, Red Robin indicated that it will open a location at the former W.R. Grace Site in Woburn this month.

WOBURN, MA — It now appears that Red Robin is just weeks away from opening a location at the former W.R. Grace site in Woburn. Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, inc. announced Monday in a press release that it would be opening its newest Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews restaurant at 369 Washington St. on Dec. 19 at 11 a.m.

The site is located just off I-95 at exit 36.

In July of 2015, Madison Woburn Holdings LLC received approval from City Council allowing the firm to develop the former W.R. Grace site as Woburn Landing, allowing for a 250-room hotel and two full-service restaurants. In March, site plans for a Red Robin location were filed with the planning board.
