Residents Invited to Woburn Plan For Progress Community Forum

First forum will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 1, at the Shamrock Elementary School, 60 Green St.

Woburn Mayor Scott Galvin, local officials and committee members are launching the city’s efforts to develop a plan for its future, and they’re asking for your help.

The City’s comprehensive Master Plan helps guide and shape many decisions on issues such as housing, economic development, land use, open space and transportation. Woburn is updating its plan for the first time in a decade with assistance from the Metropolitan Area Planning Council.

A series of public forums will be held in the coming months as part of the Master Plan update process. The forums will provide attendees with interesting facts and trends about Woburn on a variety of topics and will be designed to elicit input and insight from residents and property and business owners on issues of concern and interest.
