Scrabble for students in grades 4-8 will resume Mondays, 3:30—4:30 pm starting October 21, 2013 in the Study Hall. Even those who have never played before are welcome to play this addictive word and strategy game. We teach the basic rules, then go further by teaching tips, tricks, weird words to boost your score, and strategies. Some 2nd-3rd graders have tried it and enjoy it, so if you have a student that is anxious to check it out, he or she is welcome. The Scrabble program is a drop-in; weekly attendance isn’t required. It runs from October to mid-May.
With Burlington Library, we host a Scrabble tournament during the winter strictly for grades 4-8.
Come give it a try!
