Seniors To Seniors: New Horizons Residents Write To Class of 2020
Residents of assisted-living material shared messages with the city's high school seniors as they graduate.

WOBURN, MA — Unable to join family for graduation ceremonies as usual, residents of Woburn's New Horizons at Choate assisted-living facility shared messages with the class of 2020 for a "seniors to seniors" Facebook post.
Dozens of seniors wrote whiteboard messages, to family, the 11 graduating seniors who work at the facility and other graduates in the community.
Barbra Graham, the facility's director of community relations, said being able to share messages with the students was very important to the residents.

"The residents put so much thought into preparing these messages," Graham said. "They really wanted to say something meaningful to the kids in their lives, including those who having been serving them their meals—in some cases, for years."
