Two Alleged Drug Dealers Arrested

The arrests were made during a Southern Middlesex Regional Drug Task Force drug investigation.

Woburn Police arrested two alleged drug dealers and confiscated cocaine, crack cocaine and pills on Friday.

Police arrested Giovany R. Gonzalez, 23, 58 Monument St., Apt. 224, Boston, and charged him with possessing a Class B drug to distribute (crack cocaine), possessing a Class B drug to distribute (Oxycodone/Percocet), possessing a Class B drug to distribute (crack cocaine -- subsequent offense) and conspiracy to violate drug law. Police also arrested Melissa J. Ganley, 41, 1 Kimball Court, Apt. G13, Woburn, and charged her with possessing a Class B drug to distribute (cocaine), possessing a Class B drug to distribute (cocaine -- subsequent offense) and conspiracy to violate drug law.

Police made the arrest during an investigation by the Southern Middlesex Regional Drug Task Force. As part of an ongoing investigation, police were conducting surveillance in the Kimball Court area. They saw Ganley enter a vehicle outside her residence.

Believing there was drug transaction in the vehicle, police approached the car and ordered Gonzalez and Ganley out of the vehicle.

They searched the car and allegedly found cocaine powder, crack cocaine and prepackaged Oxycodone/Percocet.

Police also received a search warrant and searched Ganley’s home. They reportedly found cocaine on a spoon and a digital scale during their search of the residence.
