Woburn B Team Home Opener

The Woburn Trojan B team gets off to a hot start in their first game of the season.

The offense lead by Zach Carter who ran for 208 total yards and two touchdowns, scored 28 points.  Quarterback Ryan Qualey threw a 36 yard touchdown pass to Dillon Pineau during the second quarter.  In the fourth quarter, Ryan Chillemi ran a 87 yard kickoff return for a touchdown.  Woburn’s powerhouse offensive line seemed to open up huge holes for the running backs.  Players on the offense include:  Brett Stachowski, Austin Stachowski, Stephen Kolodko, Graham Bolster, Peter Cole, Steven Morgan, Ryan Beattie, Chris Chalmers, Anthony Morales, Justin Maullaney, Anthony Newman, Jack Harkins, David Difrumolo, Shawn O’Connor, Jose Nieves, Evan Strandberg Andrew Montezuma, Karim Haddad, Martin Fitzpatrick, Bren Taylor and Bassam Qasrawi.

Special teams made it nearly impossible for Watertown/Belmont to gain much yardage during kick offs.  Special teams included:  Zack Carter, Austin Stachowski, Stephen Kolodko, Anthony Newman, Graham Bolster, Justin Mullaney, Steven Morgan, Ryan Beattie, Chris Chalmers and Anthony Morales.

Woburn’s defense seemed superlative to Watertown/Belmonts offense, which was led by Graham Bolster who had 2 fumble recoveries and a crucial sack on the 3rd down.  The Woburn defense giving only 12 points and little rushing yards.  Players on the defense include:  John Hayes, Zach Carter, Ryan Chillemi, John Morgan, Stephen Kolodko, Anthony Newman, Justin Mullaney, David Difrumolo, Peter Cole, Simon Oliveira, Brad McDonald, Colin Breslin and Anthony Morales.

All in all the Woburn Trojan B team looks to have great potential and a great year ahead of them.
