Woburn City Council Approves Zoning Change to Battle March Village Project
The vote passed on a 6-3 tally Wednesday evening.

The City Council voted to approve a zoning change that could end up reducing the size of the proposed Battle March Village project in West Woburn. The vote passed on a 6-3 tally Wednesday evening.
The plot of land in the Cambridge Street area was re-zoned from a single-family homes classification to that of a townhouses designation.
A zoned Business Highway in the area was not re-zoned, leaving the project’s developer with 17,000 less square feet of land to work with.
