Woburn City Council Will Fill Vacant Seat On Feb. 5
Any registered voter who has been a resident of the City of Woburn and a citizen of the United States for at least one year is eligible.

WOBURN, MA -- Woburn City Council will vote to fill an at-large seat when it meets Feb. 5. The vacancy was created last month, when Rich Haggerty resigned. Haggerty was elected state representative in November and sworn into his new position earlier this month.
City Council will name a candidate to fill the remainder of Haggerty's term, which expires at the end of this year. Any registered voter who has been a resident of the City of Woburn and a citizen of the United States for at least one year is eligible.
Those interested in being considered for the position must file a letter of interest and resume with the Office of the City Clerk at Woburn City Hall no later than 4:30 p.m. on January 22, 2019.
