Bikes Come To Those Without Wheels In Woburn: Report

A nonprofit and a major marketing company have donated nearly three dozen bikes to kids who need them.

WOBURN, MA — Bikes are a big thing for toddlers and preteens, and now a nonprofit and a Massachusetts company have made sure second-graders here have their own wheels.

Woburn Public Schools partnered with Wish for Wheels and marketing company Salesforce to provide 33 students at Altavesta Elementary School with free, brand-new bicycles and helmets, according to a report on Wednesday.

Salesforce is headquartered in San Francisco but has a large presence in the Boston area. Wish For Wheels is a 501(c)(3) organization, based in Missouri, that converts cars and other vehicles into support for children's philanthropy.
