Woburn E1Trojans Football Game vs East Lynn Bulldogs

On Sunday September 28th, the Woburn E1 Mitey Mites traveled to Lynn to play the East Lynn Bulldogs. The Mitey Mites received the football and Evan Kolodko (#31) ran the football in for a Trojans touchdown. He was successful on this touchdown by the blocking of Brady Cypret (#7), Bryan Ferreira (#6), Sean McCarthy (#40), Dante DellaGrotte (#12), Zach Steiner (#64), Tayte Roketenetz (#63), Amber Hayden (#73), Leland Stack (#78) and Hayden Laprade(#33). The Bulldogs received the football and now the Trojans are own defense. With the combined effort of Ty Cruz(#2), Alex Doan (#9), Bryan Ferreira (#6), Brady Cypret(#7), Joey Silva (#23), Hayden Laprade (#33), Evan Kolodko (#31), Robert Scanlon (#71), Tayte Roketentez (#63), Zach Steiner (#64) and Leyland Stack (#78), the Trojans were able to stop the Bulldogs by Brian Ferreira (#6) and forcing the bulldogs to fumble the football and turning the football over to the Trojans on their own 34 yard line. On this possession their were numerous ball carriers Evan Kolodko (#31) for a total of 9 yards, Hayden Laprade (#33) he carried the football for a total of 39 yards and Bryan Ferreira (#6) carried the football for a total of 23 yards and a Trojan touchdown.

The Trojans kicked off to the East Lynn Bulldogs and they started on their own 48 yard line. On this possession the Trojans defense was blocking and having some big solo tackles by Matthew McCarthy (#48) and Alex Benitez (#65). The rest of the defense had some big tackles by Amber Hayden (#73), Logan Taylor (#58), Tristan Oliveira (#55), Michael White (#30), Devin Farren (#13), Tyler Gillardon (362), Joe Sena (#87), Bryan Ferreira (#6), Alex Benitez (#65) and Shaun Marsh (#44).The Trojans had a huge tackle and caused the Bulldogs to lose 7 yards at the 30 yard line, unfortunately this was not enough and the Bulldogs scored a touchdown and an extra point. This concluded the 1st half; the score was 12-7 in favor of the Woburn Trojans.

The Bulldogs received the football in the 2nd half; we had some big tackles by Ty Cruz (#2), Evan Kolodko (#31), Tyler Gillardon (#62), Kevin Silva (#77), Leyland Stack (#78) and Bryan Ferreira (#6). On 4th and 8 the bulldogs threw the football and Hayden Laprede (#31) batted the football to the ground and forced the bulldogs to turn the football over on downs. The Trojans took over the football on their own 42 yard line. On this possession the Trojans had some big runs by Evan Kolodko (#31) for 36 yards, Devin Farren (#13) for 14 yards and Robert Scanlon (#71) for 2 yards, some key blocking was by Nathan Medina (#51), Hayden Laprade (#33), Brady Cypret (#7), Tayte Roketentetz (#63) and Leyland Stack (#78). This was not enough yardages for the Trojans and they had to turn the football over to the Bulldogs.

On the next possession of the bulldogs the Bulldogs were able to control the football and move the Football down the field for a touchdown and an extra point. On the Trojans next possession they down the football on their own 49 yard line. The Trojans moved the football by some great ball carries they were Evan Kolodko (#31) for 21 yards, Bryan Ferreira (#6) for 2 yards and Hayden Laprade (#33) for 28 yards and another Trojans touchdown.

The Trojans kicked the football off to the Bulldogs and the Mitey Mites forced a fumble and was recovered by Brian Ferreira (#6). The Trojans were starting on the 50 yard line and they were able to contain the football to the end of the football game. The Trojans had a glorious victory by defeating the Bulldogs 18-14.
