Woburn Police Arrest Two In Sex Trafficking Sting At Mishawum Road Hotel

Theodore Gamble-Williams and Jarrid Thomas also face multiple drug charges in connection with last Friday's arrest.

WOBURN, MA -- Woburn Police arrested two men were arrested and charged with running a human trafficking operation out of a Woburn hotel. Woburn Police coordinated the investigation with the FBI Boston Division’s Human Trafficking and Child Exploitation Task Force targeting human trafficking and made the arrests of Friday, October 13, according to a release from the Middlesex District Attorney's office.

Woburn Police arrested Theodore Gamble-Williams, 32, of Dorchester and Jarrid Thomas, 29, of Roxbury. Both men were arraigned in Woburn District Court Monday. Gamble-Williams pleaded not guilty to charges of trafficking cocaine, trafficking a person for sexual servitude, possession with intent to distribute a Class C substance, conspiracy, trafficking cocaine, possession with intent to distribute a Class D substance, conspiracy to violate the drug laws and resisting arrest. Thomas pleaded not guilty to charges of trafficking cocaine, trafficking a person for sexual servitude, conspiracy and conspiracy to violate the drug laws.

Judge David Frank originally set bail for both men at $25,000 but then revoked bail for Gamble-Williamsbecause of another pending case. Both men are due back in court on October 30.

Woburn Police conducted an undercover investigation at an unidentified hotel on Mishawum Road. The two men were allegedly pimping a young woman out of their car. A search of the car found 117 grams of cocaine and marijuana and $24,000 in cash.

Separately, Newton Police conducted a similar investigation at a Grove Street hotel. Undercover police contacted a woman through a Website that offers sexual services. Upon arriving at the hotel, they questioned a young woman who gave a description of the car being driven by the man who had brought her to the hotel. Upon locating the car, Newton Police arrested James Florence, 22, of Dorchester.

Florence was arraigned in Newton District Court Monday and released on $1,000 and is due back in court November 17.
