Woburn Tanners GU14-3 Win Peabody Fall Invitational Olympian Division

Woburn Youth Soccer’s Woburn Tanners GU14-3 team defeated Everett 2 - 0 to win Peabody’s Fall Invitational Columbus Day Tournament Olympian Division. Woburn finished second in round robin play with a tie with Revere 2 - 2, a 1 - 0 win over Beverly and losing to Everett 1 - 2. Undefeated Everett finished in first place setting up a rematch in the Championship game. Woburn scored in the first half off a corner kick and added an insurance goal late in the second half shutting out Everett 2 - 0.
