1 Dead In Douglas House Fire

The fire broke out around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday at a home along Glen Street.

DOUGLAS, MA —A person was killed Tuesday night when a fire consumed a home off of Route 16 in Douglas.

The fire broke out just before 10:30 at a home at 31 Glen St., according to fire officials. The fire eventually grew to trigger three alarms.

The victim was found inside the home after firefighters put the blaze out. The person's name was not immediately released, and the cause of the fire was still under investigation on Wednesday morning.
