2 Teens Charged In Connection With September Shooting In Worcester

WORCESTER, MA — Two teenagers are facing charges after an investigation into a shooting in Worcester that occurred in September 2025.
While investigating a shooting that happened on Sept. 25, multiple agencies also investigated illegal firearm possession and manufacturing in Worcester. The investigation focused on two 17-year-old males.
On Dec. 30, WPD's Crime Gun Unit, working with the ATF and the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, executed two search warrants at Boys & Girls Club Way and Oberlin Street. A firearm, ammunition, and tools and instruments used in firearm manufacturing were recovered in the investigation.

Following the search warrants, the two teenagers were charged. One juvenile is facing charges related to the shooting and firearm possession, while the other faces charges of possession of ammunition and possession of class B with intent to distribute.

This comes months after 22-year-old Willie Watson and 21-year-old Chance Toney were charged after the shooting in September. Shortly before 6 p.m. that day, officers responded to the incident and found a firearm and bullet holes in multiple places. When officers approached Watson, he began running.
He was later arrested, and police said he was found to be carrying a loaded gun, although he did not have a license to carry a firearm. Shortly after that, Toney arrived at the hospital with a gunshot wound. His injuries were not considered life-threatening.
After an investigation, police said that officers discovered that Toney was also at the scene of the shooting and armed. He also did not possess a license to carry a firearm.
