5 Arrested After Worcester Cops Assaulted At Beer Garden
One officer had her hair ripped out, and another was bitten in the arm in the Saturday morning melee at the Worcester Beer Garden.

WORCESTER, MA — Worcester police say several officers were injured and taunted during a melee at the Worcester Beer Garden early Saturday morning. Five people were arrested during the incident.
Police responded to the beer garden, located along Franklin Street behind City Hall, at around 12:30 a.m. Saturday on a report of a fight. When a woman police officer entered the bar, a man named Robert Gould, 33, of Worcester, pulled out a chunk of the officer's hair, police said.

As officers tried to arrest Gould, a large crowd formed. One woman took an officer's baton — and then bit the officer when she tried to get the baton back, police said.

- Monique Agbanyo, 21, of Leicester: Police say she tried to grab an officer who was in the process of making an arrest.
- Natalie Price, 26, of Worcester: Allegedly took an officer's baton, and then bit the officer.
- Christopher Ayala-Melendez, 22, of Worcester: He allegedly pushed officers in an attempt to get to the people who were being arrested, police said.
- Octavia Miller, 25, of Worcester: Police said Miller was screaming and pumping her fist in the air after officers asked her to step back.
- Robert Gould 33, of Worcester: Arrested on charges of assault and battery on an officer, assault, and resisting arrest.
