WORCESTER, MA—A woman has died after swimming in Coes Pond, multiple media outlets are reporting.
The drowning occurred Thursday night at Coes Pond, with divers pulling a body from the water on Friday morning. That drowning is still under investigation, and the victim has not been named, reports WCVB.
Police are investigating the drowning, which does not appear to be suspicious, happened near the Lakeside Apartments on Lakeside Drive, and divers started the search on Thursday.
