Brazilian Man Living In Worcester Sentenced For Selling Over A Dozen Firearms
Officials said he had been residing in Worcester unlawfully.

WORCESTER, MA — A Brazilian man who was living in Worcester was sentenced to prison for selling more than a dozen firearms without a license, officials said.
Joao Vitor Dos Santos Goncalves Pimenta, 21, was sentenced to 27 months in prison and is subject to deportation upon release, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office in Massachusetts. Officials said he had been residing in Worcester unlawfully.
In August of 2025, the USAO said that Goncalves Pimenta pleaded guilty to one count of engaging in the business of dealing firearms without a license.

He is accused of selling guns and large-capacity magazines.
Officials said that between July and September 2024, Goncalves Pimenta sold 14 firearms without the required license in exchange for cash, the USAO said. Those firearms included pistols and Ar-15 style rifles, as well as large capacity magazines.
