Man Hit Walking on Greenwood Street in Critical Condition: Worcester Police
A 79-year-old man was struck as he walked in the road.

WORCESTER, MA — A man was rushed to the hospital in critical condition after his was hit by a car while walking up Greenwood Street in Worcester on Thursday.
On Wednesday, Dec. 21, around 5 p.m., Worcester police responded to 266 Greenwood St. for a pedestrian accident. A 53-year-old man lay on the ground suffering from serious injuries. Officers gave the man emergency aid, and he was taken to the hospital, where he is in critical condition.
The crash occurred when a 79-year-old Worcester woman drove her 2005 Toyota Corolla south on Greenwood Street, where the victim was walking in the road heading north. He was struck on the front passenger side of the car, causing him to roll up on the hood and hit his head on the windshield. The driver pulled over immediately after the accident.
