Man Shot, Several Cars Struck, In Early Morning Gunfire
Police are looking for suspects after a man was shot in the leg early Sunday morning.

WORCESTER, MA — A man was struck in the leg, and several cars were hit, in apparent gunfire early Sunday morning in Worcester.
On Sunday, Feb. 19, around 3:40 a.m., Worcester Police responded to reports of gunshots in the area of 20 Everett Gaylord Boulevard. When police arrived, they found a 20-year-old man on the ground lying between parked cars in the lot. He was bleeding heavily from an apparent gunshot wound to the leg.
The man was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Officers found 21 spent shell casings near the incident, and also found several unoccupied vehicles in the lot that had been struck by bullets.
According to police, the victim had just left an apartment on Laurel Street and was walking with a friend when numerous shots rang out, and fired in their direction from an unknown location. The victim was struck once in the leg, while several other rounds struck nearby parked vehicles, said police.
At this time, police have very limited suspect information, as witnesses were unable to provide officers with a description of any suspects or suspect vehicles.
