Meraki Café To Open In Former Dark Rose Saloon Space
The owners of Meraki Café will go before a city board this week for a license to open the Shrewsbury Street spot.

WORCESTER, MA — A new restaurant focused on sweet treats is coming to Shrewsbury Street in Worcester.
On Tuesday, the owners of Meraki Café will seek permission from the Worcester License Commission to open at 274 Shrewsbury St., the site of the former Dark Rose Saloon.
The owners are seeking licenses to serve alcohol, operate sidewalk dining, serve food and have live entertainment, according to the License Commission agenda. Owner Roger Bachour told the Worcester Telegram recently the restaurant will not serve meals, but will focus on dessert.
