WORCESTER, MA - Holy Cross will play Southern University on Wednesday in a First Four game in Dayton, Ohio, to decide who advances into the main bracket of the NCAA Tournament.
The Crusaders went on an incredible run to win the Patriot League, winning four road games; the team had not won a road game in conference all season up until that point.
Holy Cross, which won the Patriot League with a losing overall of 14-19, was seeded 16th on Selection Sunday. This is the 13th time Holy Cross has made the NCAA Tournament.
The winner of the Holy Cross-Southern game will play Oregon in Spokane, Wash., on Friday.
